The three stars on the flag represent the three different land forms in Tennessee. Mountains in the east, highlands in the middle and lowlands in the west. On the flag these regions are bound together in an unbroken circle. The field is crimson with a blue background for the stars. The final blue strip relieves the sameness of the crimson field and prevents the flag from showing too much crimson when it is limp.

The low oil prices are artificial, plain and simple.  With current oil prices heading south of $50/barrel, so one in the world can profitably produce oil at that price point, yet the prices keep going down.  Is this due to a glut of oil or substantially reduced demand?  Not likely as consumption is up due low gasoline prices.  All in all, you may say something does not smell right and you would be correct.  So, if oil prices are being artificially manipulated (more than normal anyway), the question is why?  To answer that question, let's look at who would be most hurt by low oil prices (hint: it is not U.S. shale oil as is being floated by the main stream media).  Let's look at the cost of production first:  Saudi Arabia is typically the cheapest producer and has a break even of around $50-60/barrel; U.S. shale oil runs a cost of production of around $60-70/barrel buy some estimates.  Then look at someone like Russia whose cost of production is projected at around $98 per barrel and Iran who cost per barrel is just over $100.  Let's also look at the fact that both the Russian and Iranian economies are heavily dependent on oil and I think you start to see your answer.  Now I think that the real target is Russia and damaging the Iranian economy is just a bonus, but who knows.  Lastly, though, messing with Putin like this is a dangerous game with unpredictable consequences.  I think the U.S. is sending Putin a message (in collaboration with the Saudis), but all hell could break loose if they push him too far.  That is what I think we all need to be concerned about: a cornered Putin can be very dangerous indeed.

How low does anyone think the oil prices will drop? Is the financial calapse upon us? With the oil war going on, and the housing market going crazy. I get the feeling by the month of sept-november 2015 we will wake up to the President on the tv claimimg that the us dollar is now worthless because of the deficent, and that we are like greece begging other countries to bail us out.

I was a Battalion Operations Sgt. in Germany when they lifted the occupation.  We then had to deal with the German Police the same way.  They really tried to be smart alecs, but not with us sgts.

I couldn't agree with you more.
The United States is so worried about offending
Immigrants and accommodations for said immigrants
The country is quickly losing sight of our beliefs and core values this country was founded on and had thrived on for so many decades.
